The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Vice President of Global Communications. As we expand globally and unify our presence under one powerful brand, we’re searching for a bold, modern communications leader. Someone who can architect a global narrative and bring it to life across regions, markets and audiences.

Key Responsibilities
We’re evolving from country‑based communications to one global brand
with a coherent, capability‑led story. The
VP of Global Communications will:
- Own and protect Draken’s global enterprise narrative and lead the brand refresh - shaping the next evolution of our identity, visual language, and tone of voice.
- Unify internal and external communications into one strategic, energised global voice.
- Translate complex technologies and capabilities into compelling stories for customers, partners, governments, and employees.
- Build a high‑accountability global communications function that strengthens reputation and market perception.
- Lead the global enterprise narrative and brand, ensuring consistency across all markets.
- Drive internal communications, including CEO/executive messaging, strategy translation, and major change communication.
- Shape external communications, elevating thought leadership, media presence, and public positioning.
- Oversee digital and content strategy, including website, global channels, and narrative‑led assets.
- Embed global integration and governance, aligning bids, marketing, events, and regional leaders to a unified brand and story.
Experience / skills / qualifications
Essential;
- Experience leading internal and external communications in a globally scaling company.
- Proven leadership of a brand refresh or rebrand.
- Strong technology storytelling and capability‑led narrative development.
- Experience supporting and shaping CEO and executive communications.
Desirable;
- Defence, aerospace, aviation or B2G sector exposure.
- Crisis & issues communication experience.
- Media relations leadership.
