IT Application Support Analyst 12 month FTC

Hours: Full-time 37 hours |12 month fixed term contract
Draken Europe is recruiting an Application Support Analyst to join our growing IT function. In this role, you’ll provide technical and functional support across key business applications, ensuring excellent system performance and a positive user experience. A major part of the role will involve leading and delivering data migration projects into SharePoint Online, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance throughout.
You’ll report into Applications & ERP Manager, and work closely with teams across the business to support continuous improvement and digital optimisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Application Support
Provide high quality 2nd and 3rd line support across business critical applications.
Ensure all work is carried out safely, aligning with Draken’s safety first culture.
Manage support requests professionally and in line with agreed processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating to internal teams or external vendors when required.
Data Migration into SharePoint
Plan, coordinate, and execute data migration activities from legacy systems and file shares into SharePoint Online.
Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and compliance throughout migration.
Configure SharePoint libraries, permissions, and metadata to meet business needs.
Documentation & Training
Create and maintain clear documentation for migration processes, configurations, and support procedures.
Provide user support and training on SharePoint functionality and best practice.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work effectively with IT colleagues, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
Identify opportunities to automate processes or enhance existing systems.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience in an application support role within a corporate environment.
Hands on experience with SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
Knowledge of data migration tools such as ShareGate or PowerShell scripting.
Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
Desirable
Experience working with ERP or enterprise applications.
Basic SQL knowledge and an understanding of data transformation.
ITIL Foundation or similar certification.
