We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Aircraft Engineer – Mechanical to support our dynamic maintenance operations. This is a hands-on role working alongside our Licensed Aircraft Engineers to ensure our fleet remains mission-ready and maintained to the highest standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting aircraft maintenance under the supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1).
- Performing daily checks, scheduled maintenance, component replacements, defect rectification, and aircraft servicing/refuelling.
- Ensuring all work complies with OEM maintenance publications and company procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities using both paper and digital systems.
- Participating actively in our Safety Management System (SMS) and promoting a safety-first culture.
- Assisting with aircraft ground movements and occasional off-site maintenance support.
- Maintaining cleanliness and control of tools, equipment, and workspaces.
What You’ll Bring:
- Aircraft Engineering Apprenticeship (including English, Maths, Physics).
- Experience with pressurised and/or unpressurised aircraft (desirable).
- Strong technical English and basic maths skills.
- Good dexterity and safe use of hand tools.
- Medically fit and physically capable of manual tasks around aircraft.
- IT literacy, including MS Office.
- Security clearance to meet UK and ITAR requirements.
- Knowledge of Human Factors and safe working practices.
