The Role

Draken Europe offers exciting careers that matter.

We believe that mission success does not start with the mission itself. It begins with our people.

Draken Europe is a leader in aviation services, supporting defence and special mission operations across the globe. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Auditor (Aviation) to join our Flight Operations team and help ensure our operations meet the highest standards of regulatory and internal compliance.

About the Role

As a Compliance Auditor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) in delivering a robust compliance monitoring programme across Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Crew Training, ATO, and CAMO. You’ll lead audits, develop checklists, monitor findings, and contribute to continuous improvement in our compliance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support audits across aviation functions, ensuring compliance with UK CAA and other regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and maintain audit checklists and documentation aligned with UK Reg 965/2012, 1178/2011, and CAP 632.
  • Manage audit programmes, produce reports, and track findings through to resolution.
  • Deliver internal training on auditing techniques and compliance principles.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors to maintain transparency and readiness.
  • Support compliance documentation for current operations and future bids.
  • Manage compliance tools including AQD, Q-Pulse, and SharePoint.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Aviation industry experience, ideally in defence or special mission operations.
  • Strong knowledge of UK CAA, ICAO, and relevant aviation regulations.
  • Experience conducting audits in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Compliance Monitoring Systems (CMS).

Skills & Attributes:

  • Confident, resilient, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong IT proficiency and adaptability to new systems.
  • Organised, deadline-driven, and a collaborative team player.
  • High integrity and professionalism.
  • Eligible for SC Level security clearance.

Success Measures

  • Timely and accurate completion of audits.
  • Maintenance of compliance records.
  • Effective collaboration with Nominated Persons.
  • Closure of internal and external findings within agreed timeframes.

Additional Information

  • Occasional out-of-hours work and travel (domestic/international) may be required.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact aviation environment with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
