The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Programme Manager to join our team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, to support a major bid programme. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-impact programme and project management outputs that support our mission-critical operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the development of programme deliverables including schedules, risk registers, and governance documentation.
  • Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with bid and programme priorities.
  • Managing day-to-day programme activities, tracking progress, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Applying Draken’s programme and project management frameworks to ensure delivery excellence.
 

Experience / skills / qualifications

  • Proven experience in programme management within a bid environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of areas such as Engineering, Aviation, Electronic Warfare Systems, Communication Systems, and Aircraft Platform Systems.
  • Skilled in MS Project and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to manage risks, priorities, and change effectively.
