The Role

Join Draken Europe – Where Your Expertise Shapes Mission Success

At Draken Europe, we believe mission success starts with our people. We’re building a world-class team to deliver cutting-edge Electronic Warfare Flying Training (EWFT) in the Middle East—and we want you to be part of it.

We’re on a mission to become the leading Operational Readiness Training provider in the region, with a permanent presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). If you're an experienced Electronic Warfare Operator (EWO) aircrew, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Now Hiring: Electronic Warfare Operators (EWOs)

Location: Dhahran, KSA (or other bases as required)

As a Line EWO, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-intensity, mission-ready training to RSAF aircrew. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Executing the full mission cycle (planning, briefing, flying, debriefing) across 5–10 sorties per week.
  • Supporting ground training delivery for introductory and refresher EW courses.
  • Acting as a key liaison for mission support coordination with RSAF squadrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the RSAF Senior EWO to deliver safe, effective daily flying operations.
  • Operate in compliance with Air Legislation and Draken’s Operations Manuals.
  • Lead weekly mission support coordination with RSAF aircrew.
  • Support and deliver EW ground school training as required.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to training teams and visiting agencies.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Attributes

  • Proven leadership and mission delivery focus.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable to cultural and operational contexts.
  • Organised, dependable, and team-oriented.
  • Committed to excellence in training and operational outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Ex-military rearcrew aircrew.
  • Desirable: QWI, EWI, AWI, GD Aerosystems, or DSAT SQEP instructor background.
  • RAF AWC EWO course and ideally NATO Air Advanced EW Course.
  • Eligible for UK SC security clearance.

Experience

  • Recent UK military front-line aircrew experience in EW/ECM roles (e.g., FJ WSO, E3 TD, WSOps).
  • Alternatively, military non-aircrew roles with tactical EW/ECM experience.
  • Strong understanding of EW principles and practical application.
  • Ideally, experience leading COMAOs or multi-aircraft formations.
  • Familiarity with aircraft defensive aids systems, radar, and comms jamming.

Why Draken Europe?

  • Be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of EW training in the Middle East.
  • Work alongside elite professionals in a high-impact, mission-critical environment.
  • Enjoy a competitive package and the opportunity to live and work in a dynamic international setting.
