We are looking for a CAMO Maintenance Planning Engineer to join our team. You’ll report to the CAMO Maintenance Planning Lead and be responsible for planning and managing aircraft, engine, and component maintenance in line with aviation regulations and international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations.
- Carry out maintenance planning tasks only within the scope of approved regulatory certifications.
- Plan and manage maintenance schedules for:
- Aircraft airframes, components, role and mission equipment (short, medium, and long-term).
- Engines, APUs, and propellers (short, medium, and long-term).
- Organise and participate in planning meetings (weekly, monthly, and pre-maintenance).
- Schedule all types of maintenance, including:
- Regular checks
- Out-of-phase tasks (e.g. Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, modifications, repairs)
- Work with Procurement & Supply Chain teams to forecast component needs (both scheduled and unscheduled).
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in CAMO maintenance planning.
- Strong understanding of commercial aircraft maintenance planning.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of AOC operations.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations (EASA, UK CAA, UK Military, FAA).
- Understanding of ISO standards (9001, 45001, 14001, 27001).
- Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Qualifications
You should have one of the following:
- EASA / CAA / Part 66 B1/B2 Aircraft Engineer License (or equivalent)
- Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering degree
- Aviation-related apprenticeship or BTEC with relevant experience
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) with proven CAMO planning experience
