The Role

Location: Teesside

Working pattern: Alternating weekly early and late shifts, 40 hours per week, onsite.

The Role

 We are currently recruiting for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1) to oversee the maintenance, repair, and certification of aircraft, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with regulatory standards while supporting and supervising the wider engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Experience

  • Proven experience in aircraft line maintenance as a certifying engineer
  • Experience working on pressurised twin-engine turbine or turbo-prop aircraft (>5700KG)
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience with a strong delivery focus
  • Experience in both line and (ideally) base maintenance environments
  • Falcon 20 type rating (highly desirable)

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a commercial environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration across multiple departments
  • Financial awareness with the ability to flag risks and manage budgets
  • Computer literate (AeroTrac experience preferred)
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused mindset

Qualifications

  • EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence – Category B1 (essential)
  • Approved apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  • No licence restrictions
  • Falcon 20 (CF700) type rating (essential/desirable depending on role level)
  • Falcon 20-5 (TFE731) type rating (preferred)
  • EASA Part 66 Category C licence (advantageous)
  • Working knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks (Part 145, Part 21, CAMO, ISO standards)
