The Role
We are recruiting for Senior First Officers across our Lear XR60 and Challenger 604 fleets to support our contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force. These fleets are permanently based in Saudi Arabia. As a result, we are offering a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of our airborne operations from the ground up. The Saudi‑based fleets will play a key role in mission support, with capabilities evolving toward a cutting‑edge electronic warfare platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee safe and efficient flight operations in line with regulations and company procedures
- Assist the Commander in all aspects of flight operations in accordance with company SOPs.
- Coordinate and execute specialised flight profiles, including formation ops
- Work with fellow crew members to fulfil mission objectives and maintain high professional standards
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and customers, upholding Draken’s reputation for excellence
- Respond decisively in emergency situations when required.
- Draken is a UK CAA Part-CAT operator and requires pilots to hold a CPL or ATPL, as well as suitable aircraft specific qualifications for our First Officer roles.
Experience / skills / qualifications
- UK CAA (f)ATPL(A) or ATPL(A)
- UK CAA Class 1 Medical
- Minimum 1500 hours total time
- Jet experience highly desirable
- Current or previously held Multi-Engine IR
- MCC Course
- AUPRT Course
- Ability to gain and maintain UK MOD Security Clearances (nationality restrictions apply)
