The Role

Draken Europe is seeking a highly skilled Production Planner & Controller (PP&C) to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Production Planning & Control Lead, this role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient execution of aircraft maintenance planning activities in line with aviation regulations and international standards.

You’ll be at the heart of our operations, coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and customer teams to deliver safe, compliant, and timely maintenance solutions.

This is a part time role offering 14.5 hours per week and the hours are Thursday 0800 - 1600 & Friday 0800 - 1530. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations (EASA, UK CAA, UK MAA, etc.)
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring resource availability
  • Liaise with procurement to manage parts and tooling requirements
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to meet deadlines
  • Support CAMO Maintenance Planning and attend planning meetings
  • Provide out-of-hours maintenance watch capability
  • Maintain accurate records and support safety investigations
  • Contribute to quality, safety, and compliance monitoring systems

 

Experience / skills / qualifications

  • Proven experience in aviation production planning & control
  • Knowledge of EASA, UK CAA, UK Military, and FAA regulations (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001)
  • Understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS)
  • Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., Part 66 License, Aerospace Degree, Aviation Apprenticeship)
  • Ability to obtain SC-Level security clearance
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • High level of integrity, resilience, and business acumen
  • Proficiency in MS Office and planning software
