Join a Team Where Your Work Truly Matters – Careers at Draken Europe

At Draken Europe, mission success begins with people—not just aircraft. We offer exciting, meaningful careers for individuals ready to make a real impact in a dynamic, high-performance environment.

Now Hiring: Operations Controller

We’re seeking an Operations Controller to help ensure the seamless execution of our flying programme across all Flight Operations. In this key role, you’ll work under the guidance of the Operations Control Leadership Team, supporting mission delivery from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate daily operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and achievement of performance targets.
  • Report policy breaches and irregularities to the Operations Control Leadership Team.
  • Liaise with external partners including customer organisations and aerodromes to support flight operations.
  • Collaborate internally with teams managing aircrew, aircraft maintenance, and flying schedules.
  • Monitor aircraft in-flight, providing real-time updates and responses to any delays or technical issues.
  • Lead operational planning and coordination for detachments away from Main Operating Bases (MOBs).

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an aviation operations environment (essential).
  • Strong academic background (A-Level or equivalent preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of civilian aviation regulations (essential); military aviation knowledge a plus.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain UK MOD Security Clearance (SC).
  • Proficiency with flight planning and crew rostering systems (highly desirable).
  • Strong interpersonal skills—able to build trust and communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Highly numerate with sound analytical thinking.
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive mindset—always looking to improve processes and performance.

Why Draken Europe?
This is more than a job—it’s a chance to contribute to missions that count. You’ll work with exceptional teams, tackle complex challenges, and help shape the future of aviation services.
